- The value of KrisFlyer miles is not fixed and depends on how you redeem them. There are several ways to calculate their worth.

If you’re purchasing a product on KrisShop, 10,000 KrisFlyer miles is worth around $80.
Award flight redemptions*
If you’re redeeming award tickets, the cost per mile largely depends on the travel season and seat class.
E.g. An off-peak SIN-NRT round-trip ticket (1 – 8 Mar) costs around $1,102.40. Redeeming the same trip as an Economy Saver Award will require 54,000 KrisFlyer miles + $101.40.
Thus, for this redemption, 10,000 KrisFlyer miles equate to roughly $185.37.
In general, award flight tickets often yield a higher value per KrisFlyer mile compared to other redemption options. KrisFlyer miles can be purchased under specific conditions.
If you’re short on miles for an award ticket or seat upgrade, Singapore Airlines permits you to purchase the remaining miles, provided you already have at least 50% of the required miles.
