The DBS Live Fresh card has been known as a great entry-level cashback credit card for many in Singapore ever since it was first launched. Now, it's known more for what it’s made from — 85.5% recycled plastic, making it the first-ever eco-friendly credit card in Singapore.

It offers perks such as annual fee waivers, no minimum spending or income requirements, and an appealing 6% cashback on contactless payments, public buses and train fares, McDelivery, Netflix, and other services.

Compare DBS Live Fresh Card vs. UOB EVOL Card vs. OCBC FRANK Card

At the moment, some of the similar credit cards in the market (at the time of writing on 24 July 2024) which target the same demographic as the DBS Live Fresh Card include the UOB EVOL Card and OCBC FRANK Card.

In terms of cashback benefits, the DBS Live Fresh Card gives you up to 13% cashback for your spending i.e. 8% + 5% additional cashback, which is higher than the maximum cashback of the UOB EVOL Card and OCBC FRANK Card. Currently, all three credit cards require you to hit the minimum spend of $800 to qualify for the maximum cashback benefits.

However, the UOB EVOL Card and OCBC FRANK Card gives you more flexibility due to their higher cashback cap per month, which are $80 cashback cap and $100 cashback cap respectively.

When it comes to interest rates, the DBS Live Fresh Card and UOB EVOL Card are on par, while the OCBC FRANK Card’s rate is the lowest. As for annual fees, DBS Live Fresh Card offers an annual fee waiver available for 5 years — the best among all three cards, as the other two cards have higher spending requirements for the annual fee waivers.
