Yes, you will still need to pay the ABSD on top of the BSD. According to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and the recent announcement by the Singapore Government in April 2023, the ABSD rates will be raised with effect from 27 April 2023. There is a transitional ABSD remission for residential properties acquired on or after 27 Apr 2023, subject to the remission conditions being met.
