When you're 70 years old, you will also receive a guaranteed multiplier benefit from the base AXA Life Treasure plan, and any other riders that are linked to the base plan.

Accidental Death Benefit

The accidental death benefit offers you twice of your total payout (base sum assured from your basic AXA Life Treasure plan plus your multiplier benefit rider) in the event that you meet an accidental death.

Critical Illness Benefit

The critical illness (CI) rider offers you an additional 50% payout of your rider's base sum assured in the event you are diagnosed with one of the three common critical illnesses, namely a major cancer, heart attack, or stroke.

Early Critical Illness Benefit

The early critical illness (ECI) rider offers you coverage for 132 medical conditions spanning early, intermediate, advanced stage critical illnesses, special conditions, and juvenile conditions. If you are diagnosed with one of the three common critical illnesses, you will receive an additional 50% of the sum you assured for your rider.

Critical Illness Plus

The critical illness (CI) plus rider offers you an additional lump sum payout in the event you are diagnosed with a critical illness. This additional payout will not affect your basic AXA Life Treasure plan's base sum assured.

Disability Cash Benefit

The disability cash benefit pays you a lump-sum annually in the event you have been diagnosed with total and permanent disability. The yearly payout sum will be chosen or determined by you when you sign up for the rider.

Premium Waiver Riders

Frequently Asked Questions

Does AXA do life insurance?

Yes. Apart from general insurance products such as health, travel, car, or home insurance plans, AXA Singapore offers life insurance as well – specifically 11 products spanning whole life (covers your life until you turn 99 years old), term life, maternity, and critical illness plans.

How to check if AXA life insurance premium is paid?

To view your AXA life insurance's policy information such as premiums payment frequency, login to your MyAXA online customer portal or mobile app. If you hold AXA policies but do not have a MyAXA account, visit the MyAXA website and click on "Register". You will then be prompted to key in your personal and contact details – after which you will be able to log in to your MyAXA account to view all your policies.

Is AXA life insurance good?

AXA's whole life insurance, called AXA Life Treasure, is generally deemed as one of the more attractive and competitive whole life insurance plans in Singapore with distinct benefits – such as a very high 7X multiplier up to 70 years old which guarantees you a benefit when the multiplier period ends.

Can I have 2 life insurance policies?

Yes. In fact, there is no limit to the number of life insurance policies you can have. You can have 2 or more life insurance plans. However, you should not measure your life insurance coverage by the number of life insurance policies you have. Instead, you want to look at the total monetary coverage that all of your life insurance plans may offer you – especially for the different illnesses, disabilities, or death that may throw your family's financial stability off balance.

What age should you buy life insurance?

Generally, the younger the better. So, if you've just graduated, are in your 20s, and have just started on your first job, you might want to seriously consider getting your life insurance policies sorted since you now have an income, have lesser medical history or conditions, and get to enjoy lower premiums. However, do check with your parents if they have previously bought any whole life insurance plans or endowment life insurance plans for you while you were a newborn. Most Singaporean parents buy whole life or legacy plans for their children upon birth – before the child develops any medical conditions or exclusions later in life.
