- To apply for a HSBC supplementary credit card, visit the HSBC Supplementary Credit Card website to leave your contact details for the bank to contact you regarding your application, call the HSBC hotline at 1800 227 8889 or +65 6216 9080 if you’re calling from overseas to submit your request, or apply by SMS “HSAPP SUPP (space) Name (space) 16-digit credit card number” to 74722.
- There are several methods to check your HSBC credit card balance.
Method #1: Via app
Log into the HSBC Singapore app > Select “Balances” or equivalent option > Select intended HSBC credit card to view
Method #2: Via online banking
Navigate to HSBC internet banking page > log in username and password > Click on “Credit Cards” section > Select intended HSBC credit card to view
Method #3: Via customer hotline
Call HSBC customer care service at either 1800-HSBC NOW (1800-4722-669) if in Singapore or +65 6472 2669 if out of Singapore - To redeem your HSBC credit card points for cash, you can opt for their “Pay with Points” programme via the HSBC Singapore app. This feature allows you to redeem points for statement credits and offset any future or outstanding purchases.
Alternatively, you can visit the HSBC Rewards redemption catalogue online. While you will not typically find options to physically redeem points for cash, you will be able to redeem vouchers, airline miles, and annual fee waivers. - If you are travelling abroad and would like to use your HSBC Singapore credit card to make retail purchases or withdraw cash from the ATMs, you will need to activate your credit card for overseas usage. To activate your HSBC credit card for overseas usage, call the HSBC hotline at 1800 4722 669 (if still in Singapore) or +65 64722 669 if you are already overseas and you will be guided through an overseas enrolment process.
