    Travel Insurance Recommendations

    UOI Travel Insurance Claims

    How do claims work?

Firstly, you’ve got to be clear of what type of plan you purchased, when did the incident/illness occur (pre-trip, during-trip or post-trip), what belongings or items to claim for, and who are involved, before you make a claim.

3 Steps to Submit UOI UniTravel Insurance Claims

    Step 1

Prepare your supporting documents for the claim

When claiming with UOI UniTravel Insurance, scan or photograph original documents for online submission and keep the originals for six months, as they may be needed for review.

    Supporting documents include:

  • Medical reports and related evidence in the form of photos and/or emails
  • Proof of ownership of baggage or other related items
  • Trip invoices, ticket confirmation, boarding passes, photocopy of passport and visas
  • Original invoices and receipts
  • Police, airline, transport, and accommodation reports
  • Step 2

Fill in details and upload supporting documents

Submit your claims form and supporting document to UOI’s appointed claims handling agent, Broadspire by Crawford & Company at [email protected].

You may also contact them at +65 6632 8639 during business hours.

All claims must be submitted no later than 31 days after insurance policy expiry.

    Step 3

Wait for approval of claim and settlement

After submitting your claim, UOI will acknowledge receipt of your claim via either email or confirmation notice on their claims portal (if available).

This confirmation will include a reference number to track its approval status.

During this period, UOI might request for additional documentation where needed if there is any missing or unclear information. This includes medical reports, proof of expenses, statements, etc.

UOI UniTravel Insurance Refunds & Cancellations

You may cancel the policy at any time prior to the commencement of the trip by giving written notice to UOI. The premium will be refunded, minus a S$25 admin fee per Insured Person for the Individual Plan or S$25 per Family Plan. No refund will be issued if the trip has already commenced or if any claim has been filed under the policy. For the Annual Multi-Trip Plan, refunds will be based on the short-term rate as per policy wording. No refund will be provided for amounts less than S$10.
